I'm a children's illustrator and writer.

Drawing and horses were my great escapes as a kid. I attended art college in York and Sunderland, UK. Then I left art college and ran away to sea. The Royal Navy taught me to be a graphic designer. I left the Navy and ran a printing business in England. But now I am doing what I have always dreamed of - illustrating and writing children's books.

Originally I am from Yorkshire, UK - now I live and work in Maine USA. I still miss fish and chips and mushy peas, but I am learning to love lobster. I have 2 dogs, 2 horses, a cat and several snow shovels.
